As a PhD candidate under the mentorship of Dr. Lawren Sack in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at UCLA, I'm investigating the coordination of plant form and function by integrating studies of anatomy, morphology, physiology, ecology and evolution. I'm especially interested in the enigmatic ferns, which exhibit more diversity in leaf form and habit than any other plant group!
